Formally, the Culture house and art museum now known as Korundi was originally a bus depot in the city of Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland, the destruction of which in the second world war was eventually followed by phased renovations to the surviving depot from 1984 to 2011, designed by architect Juhani Pallasmaa. To celebrate the dedication the city has committed to its culture and the arts, this photographic exploration documents the buildings as they stand in 2018.
